Academically, Dr. Barry Jacobson has few peers in pediatric dentistry.  He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dentistry for the Columbia University School of Medicine, considered to be one of the finest medical schools in the world.  In addition, he also serves the same position for the prestigious, Mount Sinai School of Medicine and the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn.  He teaches a variety of post-graduate dental courses to future dentists.  Besides his expertise in all issues pertaining to pediatric dentistry, Dr. Jacobson has emerged as a pioneer and leader in the field of laser dentistry, particularly the waterlase hydrokinetic dental laser.  He has published many scientific papers on the subject matter.
