Dr. Allen Levesque, DDS
	Dr. Allen J. Levesque (pronounced "levek") is a general family dental practitioner serving Ventura and Oxnard. As a specialized cosmetic dentist, he brings extensive experience and a caring chairside manner to his Ventura dental practice. After receiving a degree in biology at California State University, Long Beach in 1978, Dr. Levesque attended the UCLA School of Dentistry, from which he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 1983. He then completed a two-year internship with the U.S. Public Health Service in Iowa, where he provided dental care to underprivileged families. Always Learning Dr. Levesque is a dedicated cosmetic dentist who keeps well informed of the latest developments in dentistry. This is especially true for cosmetic dentistry; through countless hours of continuing educational seminars, Dr. Allen Levesque keeps his clinical skills current. This ongoing education includes the replacement of mercury fillings with porcelain fillings, improving smiles with porcelain veneers,

I had been unhappy and embarrassed about my teeth my whole life. Not only were my teeth very small with big spaces in between them, but I was also missing a tooth right in the front. And, because my teeth were so small I had a very unattractive, gummy smile.

My smile makeover was a big job. I not only needed a bridge as well as veneers on some teeth and full crowns on others; but I also needed to have my gums trimmed to lengthen the appearance of my teeth. And, i wanted to have all of the old metal fillings in my back teeth replaced with new white ones.

I now have the perfect smile I always dreamed of. I notice that in old pictures I always had an awkward smile because I was trying to hide my teeth. But now my smile is natural and I look much happier in all of my pictures. People often tell me I have "a nice smile" and they don't even know my teeth haven't always looked like this.
