We would like to welcome you to our office. We take great satisfaction in helping you maintain optimal oral health. Our practice is devoted to comprehensive and preventive patient care.
We are located in West Los angeles on Westwood BLVD one block south of Wilshire BLVD across from The Crest Movie Theater. Our patients come to see us from Beverly Hills to Santa Monica and from Marina Del Rey to Brentwood. We provide most aspects of Family Detistry, Cosmetic dentistry and Laser dentistry such as: Dental Implants, Porcelain Veneers, Root Canals, Invisalign, White fillings, Onlays and Inlays.
We accept most PPO dental insurances. Here is the list of the ppo insurances that we are contracted with: Aetna, Alliance, Ameri health, Anthem, Blue Cross, Blue Sheild, Cigna, First-Health, Horizon, Humana, Pacific Care, Providence, Tricare, Unicare, United, Wellpoint.

 | Dr Sheba Mahmoodian received her dental degree from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 1998 and is now in private practice. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Western Los Angeles Dental Society and the Iranian Dental Association. Dr. Mahmoodian's goal is to provide comprehensive dental care for all of her patients. She maintains the highest standards while ensuring your physical and emotional comfort. Dr. Mahmoodian has extensive experience working with children and believes in preventive measures such as fluoride treatments and dental sealants. I had a great experience with Dr. Mahmoodian. She and her staff were very nice and made me extremely comfortable. I've had such bad experiences with dentist in the past,I feel very comfortable with her.

I usually hate going to the dentist. They've tortured me my whole life, but as I've gotten older, my caustic view of dentists and their minions--staff!! I meant staff--has changed since I started going to Woodside Dental. Today, I had the best hygienist ever. Her name is Shira (I hope I spelled that right). She actually talked to me, even during the process. But she wasn't droning on about herself or her problems, we had an actual conversation. It was very odd for me to go in to a dental office, and find a staff member that makes the whole "I'm going to scrape your teeth and prod your gums into oblivion" seem less cold. It was also nice that Dr. Mahmoodian, while working with another patient, greeted me and asked me how my trip went. When I was young, I was confused by how adults could have conversations with dentists and the staff that so terrified me. Now I see that you just have to find the right office, filled with people who actually care.
Dr. Mahmoodian and her staff are very professional. They provide excellent service and educate you on how to provide care for your teeth. I would highly recommend my Doctor to anyone seeking excellent dental care.

I made an emergency visit with Woodside Dental. I had no idea where to look for Dental work on a Saturday after having a filling fall out, and luckily I found them! They fit me right in with little notice (about 30 minutes) and did an excellent job at replacing my filling. The assistants were very knowledgeable as well, after asking them several questions I felt as though they were every educated. The dentist was good, she explained things to me very thoroughly which made me feel better about the fact someone I didn't know (not my regular dentist, as I am from out of town) was about to drill on my teeth. She did an excellent job, however, it looks great! I am very pleased with her work, which is saying something since I've had a lot of dental work done. Overall, i would give Woodside Dental 5 stars based on knowledge, cleanliness, and overall finished product. I would recommend them to my friends and family.
