What Is Zoom Teeth Whitening?
Zoom teeth whitening is a cutting edge teeth whitening procedure that can bleach the teeth. Zoom can make the teeth up to eight shades whiter than the initial shade. The procedure employs a special gel and a special zoom light, which will work on removing the stains from the teeth.
The Zoom Teeth Whitening Procedure
The zoom teeth whitening procedure can be performed at a dental office and will work on discolored dentin and enamel. The lips and gums are protected so that they won’t be irritated during the procedure. Then, the zoom gel will be applied on the teeth. The gel contains a bleaching agent, which will be activated by the zoom light. The zoom light is then applied on the teeth and left for approximately 15 minutes.
The procedure will be repeated two more times. The entire procedure takes up to 45 minutes and there should be no discomfort. The procedure may make the teeth sensitive for up to two days, so the patient will have to avoid certain foods and drinks that will stain the teeth or may cause pain (i.e. icy or hot foods).
Effects of Zoom Teeth Whitening
On average, the zoom teeth whitening can whiten the teeth by up to eight shades. However, the results may vary according to the personal coordinates of each patient in part. The results may be durable, but will also depend on the patient’s lifestyle.
A zoom night gel may be used regularly to maintain the effects of the zoom teeth whitening for longer.
