Am I candidate for a bridge or catilever bridge?

I have had a lower jaw tooth missing for nearly 15 years. I am interested in a dental bridge. My concern is the time frame I have waited and one of the connecting teeth is a primary tooth that never developed an adult tooth. Am I still a candidate?

There are many factors that will determine if an implant or bridge will be a better option: bone quality and quantity, condition of the teeth adjacent to the space, etc. A dental bridge can be a very good option, but your dentist will need to evaluate the current condition of the primary tooth and weight the options carefully to give you the best long term results.
