Tooth Extraction and Pricing?

I have a broken tooth, in the back of my mouth. It has some swelling. And it broke over 6 months ago. Is an extraction a good choice? And after an extraction, what kind of "replacement" is available? Also, what price range can I expect?

If the tooth is broken six months ago, there is a good chance there is not much left to repair or save. A dentist will have to look and advise you of your choices. After the extraction, implant is the best option assuming you are medically healthy and your bone structure around the tooth to be removed is there. There are other options such as bridge or dentures depending on where and how many teeth are missing. Cost ranges. Refer to cost of implant section in the dentalfind.com for more information.
